How I did it?- Chinita's fair
The assignment was to create a stand in second life to show other people in other country the beautiful of our city, the warm of the people and the beauty of the colors; and also the importance that we give to our belief in the Chinita virgin.
So I decide to create a picture that will be colorful and beautiful of her, first I download some images of the Chinita and I vectorized it I added some trimmings like pearls of the rosary and the background of the image simulating the sunlight, with colors like yellow, brown and orange to create lights and darks.
With a concept made by Naikely Parra I just have to create the other pieces that we were going to assembly in the stand.
I wanted to show a big announce that everyone could see to go there.
I hope you will like this and you'll enjoy the fair.

I created a welcome banner with warm color and continuing with the same chromatic line that we have used in the main poster. With the same typography I put the name of “Chinita’s fair” in the right corner, and I’d play with the orientation of the words in there to create dynamism.
The background is the same as the main poster with a little modification. And for last I added the image that I’d create of the Chinita in the left side of the banner.
For last, we wanted to show everyone who we are personally and I edited a photo of us, we took the photo and I erased the background and I assembled it on the background of the main poster and finally I added the identification of the “Chinita’s fair” in the bottom with the image of the Chinita and that’s it..
I hope you will like this and you'll enjoy the fair.
Questionnarie
1.-How do you define graphic design?
I define personally graphic design as the most creative and infinitive carrer of all times.2.-What is the hardest thing about the industry?
Being told by a client that they don’t like what you’ve done. And then even if the client likes the ideas the best idea often doesn’t make it. (I changed this question from “what was the hardest thing to learn…” I got out of that one!)
3.-What is the best part about your job?
Obviously the feeling of having done a good job. Whether you’ve been told so or shown by sales figures.I love the variety; packaging, websites, newsletters, marketing, print ads, banners, presentations, branding a new product, corporate literature, viral videos.
4.-What is something you wish other designers would understand?
Don’t see the client as the enemy. Somebody once said that design would be a great job if it wasn’t for clients. I disagree; it wouldn’t be much of a job if it wasn’t for clients.5.-Where do you see yourself professionally 10 years?
In ten years i see myself with my own publicity compain and in other country with my family.
6.-What made you choose to apply to Graphic design?I didn't choose graphic design only as a career option, I'd choose graphic design as a life style; because I locve to see the thing of life from another perspective, that perspective that not everyone can see.
7.-Where did you go for inspiration?
The inspiration for me as agraphic design variates with the project, but most of the times I sit in my room with my hedphones and turn play the music and the inspiration shows.
8.-How graphic design can changes the world?Graphic design is in everywhere; everything you look at is made by a graphic designer. Most of the people think that graphic design is drawing some sketches and done. But that's no true, it is more than that, is a complete process; in a few words graphic design is art.
9.-What have you done to improve your Graphic design knowledge ?To improve my knowledge basically I practice a lot with the programs of design like Ilustrator Photoshop Dreamweaber also I practice with the programs of autodesk company´s magazines are useful too that sort of thing, I watch a lot of tutorials videos at youtube and I take a lot of courses.
10.-What have you learned from your past jobs?Through the time and all the experience I'd learn how to treat the clients and to be patient with them; also how to translate with their words and their especifications "what they want" and finally create a good concept of it.In ten years I see myself with my own publicity compain and in another country.

Job Interview Tips
Practice
Practice answering interview questions and practice your responses to the typicaljob interview questions and answers most employers ask. Think of actual examples you can use to describe your skills. Providing evidence of your successes is a great way to promote your candidacy.
Prepare
Prepare a response so you are ready for the question "What do you know about our company. Know the interviewer's name and use it during the job interview. If you're not sure of the name, call and ask prior to the interview. Try to relate what you know about the company when answering questions.
Watch
Get Ready
Make sure your interview attire is neat, tidy and appropriate for the type of firm you are interviewing with. Bring a nice portfolio with copies of your resume. Include a pen and paper for note taking.
Be On Time
Be on time for the interview. On time means five to ten minutes early. If need be, take some time to drive to the office ahead of time so you know exactly where you are going and how long it will take to get there.
Stay Calm
During the job interview try to relax and stay as calm possible. Take a moment to regroup. Maintain eye contact with the interviewer. Listen to the entire question before you answer and pay attention - you will be embarrassed if you forget the question!
Show What You Know
Try to relate what you know about the company when answering questions. When discussing your career accomplishments match them to what the company is looking for.
Follow Up
Always follow-up with a thank you note reiterating your interest in the position. If you interview with multiple people send each one a thank you note.
.
When the interview is over, smile, shake hands and thank the interviewer by name, “Thank you for your time”. Follow up with a thank you note at your earliest opportunity to make a continuous, good impression.

Chinita's fair
With this project we want to show everyone the wonderful of chinita's fair, creating a concept that communicates the human warm and the beauty of our city "Maracaibo".
The selected Image for this project is an image that shows surrealism because it makes ablution of a folklore event in Venezuela, most specifically in this state "Zulia". The graphic elements like the sun and the bridge create a publicity piece that provides an easy recognition for de people that participate in this.
The selected color, was selected because it is natural; it is also traditional in this city that type of color, because it has hot tones to represented the heat of the city and the gentle people.
The Arial Black was selected as the main typography, because it is 100% readable and a modification was realized to create a bigger illusion.
A visual metaphor was used, because it show commemorative elements.
The participation for this project was in group and next we wrote down who did what:
*Maria Jose Bravo: she took care of designing the banner, editing the group photo, translating this paragraph and creating the Chinita's image.
*Manuel Marquez: he took care of supervising the assembly and to write the descriptive memory.
*Naykely Parra: she took care of designing the main poster and creating the graphic concept.
